Abstract
Human dignity is one of important issues for thinkers. seeing it from a divine, eternal viewpoint has a outstanding role; Because such a approach does not suffer from human experience limitations’. Thus, one could emphasis on main bases of human dignity, such as creation, having intellectual faculty, freedom and free will, man undertaking divine trust and becoming God’s viceroy in the earth. Such dignity has a significant consequence, to name a few, being the most honored creature, rights of equality and freedom, benefited from every single induvial and social rights, etc, could be mentioned. The significance of inborn and acquired human dignity and its consequences is in every aspect of his life, particularly in laws and macroplans, as well as reaching to a cosmopolitan morality. Explaining the bases of human dignity from a divine viewpoint, its implications in different areas of life and its reflections in Constitution of Iran have been discussed in this paper; afterwards, there is a comparison with Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
