There is a deep connection between philosophy and medicine in the sense that Avicenna used his philosophical principles in medicine and vice versa. The issue of sleep has been considered in Avicenna's medicine and philosophy, and has been examined and analyzed medically and philosophically by Avicenna from various aspects. From Avicenna's point of view, considering the mutual influence of the soul and the body, disorders in the body and its diseases (especially bad temperament) cause disturbed dreams and sleep disorders, and the best dreams are those of those who have a moderate temperament. Because the relationship between the rational soul and the physical body is established correctly; on the other hand, emotional states also affect sleep in such a way that the emergence of the queen of lies and other vices in a person causes disturbed and unrealistic dreams. In the treatment of sleep disorders, attention should also be paid to both aspects of the soul and the body, and Avicenna's therapeutic strategies in this regard are based on the relationship between the rational soul and the body, and therefore strengthening the spirit of Bukhari.
