An inquiry in philosophical texts can be done in two ways: literal search and conceptual search. But a literal search alone cannot fulfill the needs of the researchers and there is always a need to facilities for conceptual searches in texts as well. One of the tools to achieve this goal is the thematic dictionaries that make us much closer to the searches needed by researchers. In this article, we have tried to explain how to analyze the contents of the philosophical texts in the form of themes, indices, key words, and peripheral systems (commonalities, synonyms, related words, etc.) in thematic dictionaries so that we may clarify their extraordinary importance in facilitating research and increasing precision in conceptual searches for researches and scholars in philosophical sciences and producing knowledge.
