This study examines and analyzes the application of the intuitive method in self-knowledge (of self and Allah) based on the views of Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, one of the prominent scholars of the recent century in the Qom Seminary. He considers none of the various methods of knowledge to be beneficial for attaining true knowledge of the self and Allah. In this descriptive-analytical study, using credible sources and referring to his written works through a library-based approach, applying the intuitive method is proven to be the best, most complete, and most reliable method for achieving true knowledge of self (soul) and Allah. The findings indicate that principles such as the human being as a vicegerent, the comprehensiveness of the human being, the human being as an exemplar of the Lord, and the connective being of all beings are involved in explaining the discussion. According to Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, human knowledge is either through the knowledge of the existential cause, the human being himself, or his effects and necessities. Knowledge of human beings through existential causes is the most complete and best knowledge, but it isn't easy and is out of reach for everyone. Knowledge through effects and necessities is also incomplete and superficial. Therefore, knowledge through self (soul) is the best path to enter the realm of Divine knowledge. Since all human awareness and knowledge return to sense, intellect, heart, and transmitted knowledge from the infallibles (peace be upon them), and all these types of knowledge fall either within the domain of acquired knowledge or present knowledge, by examining and evaluating each of these methods, it becomes clear that none of them lead to true knowledge of the self and Allah.
