The Burhān al-Ṣiddīqīn (Proof of the Truthful) has long stood as one of the most robust arguments for the existence of Allah, drawing sustained attention from Islamic philosophers and theologians. ʿAllāmeh Ḥasanzādeh Āmolī, adopting an innovative approach grounded in the principles of ḥikmat-i mutaʿāliya (Transcendent Philosophy), offers a profound and original exposition of this argument. Through a semantic and ontological analysis of the Qur’anic root fa-ṭa-ra (فطر), he posits that the relationship between Fāṭir (Creator) and munfaṭir (that which is created) is one of ẓāhir and maẓhar—the manifest and its manifestation. Accordingly, all beings in existence emanate and are derived directly from Allah’s very essence (dhāt), the Exalted. This study employs a descriptive-analytical methodology to first elucidate the philosophical and mystical foundations of Ḥasanzādeh’s exposition. It then examines the transmitted implications of this perspective, assessing its harmony with Qur’anic verses and prophetic traditions (riwāyāt). The findings of this study indicate that ʿAllāmeh Ḥasanzādeh’s exposition is not only philosophically and mystically coherent but also deeply consonant with Islamic transmitted texts. His exposition compellingly illustrates the inseparable nexus of the Qur’an, Islamic mysticism (ʿirfān), and rational demonstration (burhān). Among the significant transmitted implications of this view are: the intuitive nature of innate monotheism (tawḥīd), the idea of “knowing Allah through Allah,” and the derivation of all contingent beings from the essence of the Necessary Existent (wājib al-wujūd).
