The issue of "Prophecy" has long been the center of discussion among Islamic theologians and philosophers. This research analyzes and examines Mulla Sadra's view on the truth of prophecy using a library method. Sadr al-Mutalahin has explained and analyzed the truth of prophecy based on his philosophical foundations - including skepticism in existence, essential movement, the unity of the wise and reasonable - and considering the spiritual qualifications of the Prophet. From his point of view, a prophet is a human being who, by passing through the stage of sense, imagination and reason, reaches the highest level of theoretical reason (useful reason) and practical reason (Fana), in which case, the prophet's soul is united with reasonable forms and active reason, and this is the highest position. Man is the position of prophecy. Sadr al-Mutalahin considers the prophets as the owners of primary and secondary perfections, based on which they attain the rank of divine caliphate and deserve to assume the leadership of the nation. He considers Sharia as the appearance of prophethood and its inner being as guardianship, and he believes that the position of prophethood is one of the levels of guardianship. In order to better explain Mulla Sadra's theory about the truth of prophecy, this article examines other topics such as the difference between a prophet and a guardian, a prophet and a philosopher, the status of prophethood and mission, and the difference between prophecy and priesthood from Mulla Sadra's point of view.
