The issue of God’s knowledge of details is an important topic in philosophical theology. This issue has been discussed by many philosophers, including Hakim Suhrawardī and Mullā Ṣadrā. By proving God’s presence knowledge of details, the Master of Illuminationism (Shaikh-i-Ishraq) was able to eliminate the most important problem of God’s knowledge to details, i.e., change and renewal in material things. From his point of view, change and constancy will make no difference in terms of the presence of “Possible” with “Necessary”. Mullā Ṣadrā also proved knowledge in creatures simply from the existential simplicity of the Necessary Being, which contains all the perfections of things by its nature. Accordingly, the supreme “Necessary Being”, by its nature, has knowledge of all creatures, all relationships, ratios, and the systems governing them. This power is explained by the fact that the truth of knowledge is nothing but the presence of “Incorporeal” with “Incorporeal”. These two philosophers’ perspectives in this regard have challenges that are mentioned and compared in this article. This article will also give rise to a new approach to God’s knowledge, the “Unknown Knowledge”. God’s knowledge, unlike human knowledge, belongs to no knowledge and is beyond all the known and unknown knowledge. Thus, God has infinite knowledge of both the known and the unknown knowledge. This perspective does not limit God’s knowledge to the sphere of the known, and the limitation of the known will not affect His knowledge.
