The comparative study of primacy existence in existentialist philosophy and transcendent theosophy has been an intriguing subject for researchers. However, the present research, focusing on the principle of the primacy of existence over essence, or the authenticity of existence in the philosophy of Jean-Paul Sartre, delves into the anthropological dimension of this perspective. Instead of a mere comparison, the study engages in the adjudication and evaluation of this standpoint within the paradigm of transcendent theosophy. This involves an examination of the works of Shahid Beheshti, thereby assuming the responsibility of judgment and assessment, in contrast to a straightforward comparative analysis. The results of this research indicate that the "primacy of existence over essence" is merely a linguistic commonality between Sartrean and Sadrian philosophies. Nevertheless, a portion of the content substantiated in Sartre's anthropology, which is itself a product of the aforementioned principle, finds confirmation in transcendent theosophy as well. The most significant similarities between these two philosophical frameworks lie in the flexibility of human nature and the ontological diversity of individuals in relation to each other. On the other hand, the most significant differences lie in the irreducibility of humanity, the denial of original disposition (fitrah), and the assertion of human freedom from divine will in Sartrean anthropology. In contrast, Mulla Sadra and Shahid Beheshti’s anthropology opposes these notions. This research, employing a descriptive-analytical method, after elucidating the principle of the primacy of existence over essence in Sartre's thought with a focus on his anthropology, proceeds to critique it within the framework of Sadrian philosophy. It examines the commonalities and differences between the two perspectives.
